Flamingo in Dortmund

Highly recommended!!! We went to the Indian buffet before lockdown and really loved it. Very good selection of really tasty dishes in a nice atmosphere. There is something for everyone. We were served very friendly. I am pleased that such nice operators have found the space. Conclusion: anytime again :-)

Miracles in lockdown. Nice stop for a waffle, bratwurst and children's punch.

Whenever we are in the zoo, a short stop is a must.

I would love to go back to this restaurant anytime. The Indian buffet was excellent and the staff very friendly. It is a shame that it is not possible to stay there at the moment.

The Indian dishes are very tasty, the service is friendly and attentive. It's nice that you can sit outside on the sheltered terrace even in autumn. The short walk from Rombergpark is definitely worth it.

Don't go there !!!! The only restaurant nearby absolutely understaffed. Was there 10 minutes without being spoken to. They only think because there is nothing else they can do that.

You immediately feel at home in this restaurant, are treated in a friendly manner and there is even the opportunity to sit outside in front of and behind the restaurant. The staff is also very friendly, feel-good factor😊😊😊😊👍👍👍

A quiet restaurant with good cuisine! The staff is very friendly! I can recommend it, but if you need a huge menu, this is the wrong place!

Unfortunately only average at the moment 🤔🤔🤔we had coffee and cake 🤔🤔🤔was just so-so.

Had a mango lassi and a vegetarian curry. The drink was okay. The curry, however, is unambitious. 50% rice, 40% chickpeas, the rest sauce. In addition, it is lukewarm and boring in taste. Therefore only 3 stars.

We were there yesterday, on September 15, 2020 for 4 to study and were served by a gentleman. First there were 3 girls, well served and then a guy came along and we were completely ignored by the man in the service. We wanted to study there often and eat very well, but if you are not served or not served well, we will look for another place. A pity

Legga, nice atmosphere and cozy

Last Saturday we went to the "Flamingo" for the Indian buffet and were very enthusiastic. There was a good and extremely tasty selection of dishes, also for vegetarians. A nice lady stood behind the buffet all the time and was happy to explain the different dishes. At the end there was a small dessert buffet, which we really enjoyed. In the fine weather we were able to sit outside on the terrace at a good distance from the next table and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of Rombergpark, where we also took a digestive walk afterwards. The waitresses were all very nice and attentive. At the beginning, it was explained at each table how the buffet works in Corona times. The only thing that irritated us was that everyone was allowed to fill their own plates, i.e. everyone had touched the ladle. We decided to always wash our hands before eating. Conclusion: we will definitely be back.
